EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Coach & Consultant
For more than two decades, Joy Glasser has coached leaders operating in complex, high-stakes environments where authority, perception, and consequence converge. She works with C-suite executives, senior media leaders, and physicians whose decisions shape organizations and cultures. Her clients have included senior leaders at Godiva Chocolate, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Politico, Simon & Schuster, Catapult Publishing, and physicians at nationally recognized health systems including Allina Health, the Mayo Clinic, Hennepin County Medical Center, and Legacy Health.
Founder of Glasser Group, Inc., Joy brings strategic and narrative intelligence to her work. With a Master’s in Teaching from Hamline University and a B.F.A. in Film Production from New York University, she understands both systems and story — how leaders think, how they communicate, and how they are perceived. As a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), she guides executives in expanding cultural competence and navigating institutional complexity. She serves on steering committees at Allina Health and the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing.
Joy’s coaching is distinguished by real-time perceptual acuity. She works in the moment, tracking how leaders show up — their tone, posture, pacing, authority, hesitation — and she names what others sense but rarely articulate. She reflects both intention and impact, making visible where they align — and where they don’t. When a pattern in a leader’s presence limits effectiveness, she addresses it directly and clarifies what must shift to produce a different outcome. Clients do not leave with scripts; they leave thinking and leading differently — clearer in their authority, sharper in their communication, and more aligned in how they use power.
